When people are inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, they receive a special gold jacket. Our Campaign Chair and Seattle Seahawks CEO, Tod Leiweke, has been such a great campaign quarterback for United Way, we wanted to show our appreciation for all that he’s done in a similar fashion. So at the Spirit of Caring Celebration, United Way CEO Jon Fine proudly presented Tod with a jacket emblazoned with a special patch that says, “United Way of King County Hall of Fame Enshrinee.”…
The Spirit of Caring Celebration was a great way to recognize and thank everyone who gives, volunteers and cares about our community. And we proudly inducted this year’s Spirit of Caring Award winners into United Way of King County’s “Hall of Fame.”
The Seattle Mariners took home top honors, receiving the Spirit of Puget Sound Award, recognized as King County’s highest achievement in corporate philanthropy. The award honors outstanding community involvement, sustained campaign excellence, and the promotion of volunteerism.
