    I was on Costco.com last night and just happened to notice a United Way logo on the home page with the words “Click here to pledge.” I found that as part of its United Way employee giving campaign, Costco is also encouraging Costco members to donate.     You may have heard about United Way’s large-scale workplace giving campaigns at big companies like Microsoft and Boeing. But even the smallest campaigns make a difference. John Loper is a Real Change News vendor in downtown Seattle who believes in helping out those less fortunate than himself.
