Halfway Through the Fall Campaign Season: An LE’s Perspective
 

Each fall, when large numbers of area companies hold their workplace giving campaigns, a group of Loaned Executives works with United Way to raise our visibility and reach our fundraising goal. Companies typically choose rising stars for their Loaned Execs, or alternatively seasoned leaders who can add particular value thanks to deep experience. We’re #1! “United Way of King County tops nation in fundraising”

Let the fist pumping and general merriment begin! We are proud to announce that our community raised $101.2 million for our annual fundraising campaign. This makes us the number-one United Way in the country!

$35.5 million of the total was given directly to United Way of King County and will be invested on behalf of our donors to build on the results of the past year, like providing an additional 6 million pounds of food to put on peoples tables and lifting 1,000…

Congrats to our Campaign Coordinators of the Year!

Campaign coordinators are the lifeblood of United Way of King County’s fundraising efforts. They often coordinate workplace giving campaigns on top of their regular jobs. At this year’s Spirit of Caring Celebration, we saluted three of our top coordinators.

United Way of King County’s Spirit of Caring Celebration is a special evening dedicated to recognizing and thanking the extraordinary people in our community who are stepping up, standing out and giving back—including you!
