As a “Penny Harvest” coach for Solid Ground, I can tell you that today’s children are very much interested in giving their $$$ and resources to help feed children. Maybe they see it in the lunchroom on a daily basis…I’m not sure but I know our “Penny Harvest” has always been interested in feeding more children. This is a great way to teach children about philanthropy…for more information about the Penny Harvest in our local schools, go to http://www.solid-ground.org/Pages/Default.aspx
