The New Solutions Council met last month and had a very informative and interactive meeting.  Our council volunteers led portions of the meeting and had great ideas about how we can move forward and ways to measure that we as a group are achieving our goals and how we can best convene groups to discuss various topics out in the community!  We are about to start the process of checking in with some of our small grants funded projects to see how their programs are going and positively affecting the lives of the people that they serve.  UWKC staff is constantly in the community to identify ways that groups, agencies, etc. are finding to address local issues. 

Some of the new collaborations that we have found out about are very exciting and shows us how when people, agencies, groups come together, great things often happen!  We look forward to all of the exciting work, conversations and projects that we will be involved in as this year progresses and feel that we are off to a great start for a successful year of new solutions!!
