You’ve no doubt read or seen news accounts of the Haitian earthquake and its terrible human toll. Please join the many United Way of King County employees who are lending financial support to one of the international relief organizations rushing to provide help. There’s a list of giving options in a Seattle Times story yesterday, including several organizations that are based in the Northwest.

A very easy and fast way to give is with your mobile phone. Simply text the word “Haiti” to the number 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross, which is at the front line of medical aid.
