We wanted to give a quick update to all of our readers that UWKC’s Strengthening Our Community Council has been hard at work over the past couple of months busily preparing for our upcoming agency application review!  On January 6^th, all agencies who wish to apply for either our Older Adults or Youth Development funding should have their applications complete and submitted to UWKC for review.  Once all of the applications are received, lead staff and volunteers will conduct a very thorough review process.  Based on some preliminary feedback that we have received from agencies, the application process looks as if it will be very competitive.  We had an overwhelming response to our three application information meetings from agencies throughout King County and we look forward to reading about the great programs that they have to offer to help the citizens in our community!
