You know that Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop I wrote about yesterday? Well, the people that are organizing it (the city and other federal, state, and local nonprofits) need volunteers to help make sure everything runs smoothly.

If you’re lucky enough to not have to worry about staggering mortgage payments, consider taking a day to help the public and families in need.

The workshop takes place on Friday, July 24th from 11am ’til 7pm at Cleveland High School (5511 15th Ave South).

They need volunteers to fill the following positions:
• Greeters/floaters (on July 24)
• Cleanup (on July 24)
• Canvassers Rainer Valley and other locations (on July 24 and anytime the week before)

If you’re interested in volunteering, you can contact Nick Zarnick at 206-240-1040 or at zarnick95@msn.com.

And don’t forget to spread the word about the event and volunteer opportunity to everyone you know!
