KOMO 4 News is airing a series of stories related to Hunger Action Week. Tonight’s 6:00 p.m. news broadcast will feature Karen Marcotte Solimano, a United Way of King County volunteer who is taking the Hunger Challenge. Cameras followed Karen as she went grocery shopping for her family of four.

KOMO 1000 radio host Brian Calvert is also participating in the Hunger Challenge and reports on day one of his experience here.
